Chris Kistan

Chris Kistan took leadership of our Schools & Early Years Educator Apprentice Programme at the beginning of 2018, with the goal of bringing high quality accredited training to the workplace of committed passionate teachers and support staff.

Chris is passionate about empowering educators and improving the performance and productivity of organisations. He has a proven track record of leading schools in surpassing expectations and thriving in challenging circumstances.

Chris’ experience ranges from working as the Principal of private schools to working as a leadership consultant for local authorities and national third sector organisations. 

Chris specialises in delivering coaching and mentoring solutions in the areas of Leadership Development, Safeguarding and Effective Special Education Needs Practices in schools.

He is currently working with Prof Kathryn Riley at the IOE on supporting schools in their understanding and delivery of “Schools as Places of Belonging” and developing an international kitemark for schools to be recognised as happy places.

Chris’ long term aspiration for the ELA Group is to develop a unique high quality Special Education Needs Teacher's Apprenticeship Programme.

Ali Khan

Ali has 17 years experience of establishing & managing community-based and work-based learning programmes and more than 10 years working at some of the largest training providers in the UK. 

While working at a senior level Ali maintains day-to-day interaction with learners & Employers to stay in touch with the operational realities & customer requirements when delivering in the workplace. 

In the new world of Apprenticeship Standards and the Employer Levy, Ali engages intensively with clients to help shape & deliver solutions that fit with the needs and strategic goals of their organisation.

Ali is a qualified Assessor, IQA holding Management Level 7, Prince2 & APM.

Moses Ali

Moses is a top-professional with nearly 25 years of experience as a Project Manager, Trainer, Mentor and Business Consultant. Moses brings a wealth of commercial experience, knowledge & success to the world of Apprenticeships and delivery of learning & skills in general. 

Moses has successfully managed large-scale projects for large corporates and improved procedures in a wide-range of industries, including aviation, health services, insurance, retail and telecommunications.

He is highly experienced in business improvement, logistics, supply chain, procurement planning and procedures.  Accredited IASSC Lean Six Sigma trainer. BSc Economics, MSc Operations management, MBA, AET, lean Six Sigma Black Belt & PRINCE2.

Moses leads on systems & curriculum development whilst heading up our Project Management and Leadership & Management programmes.

Rachel Brandwood

Rachel has qualified Teaching, Learning and Skills Status and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Portsmouth University.   Rachel is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) , Society for Education and Training and the Institute for Customer Service (ICS).

Rachel has been in Education & Training for 20 years, she has spent 4 years in Japan as a Teacher Trainer, teaching and level-checking students, recruiting native Japanese teachers, mentoring and training new Japanese and native English Teachers

Her Retail experience includes working as a Department Manager and Learning & Development Coach for John Lewis and has spent the last 8 years working in Quality Assurance & Management of Adult Learning.  Rachel is our Lead Internal Quality Assurance; mentoring & developing our trainers to be the very best they can be.
