The approach we use for our Project Management courses is similar to the ‘Obeya’ system. Obeya means 'war’ or ‘project’ room and originates from Japanese organisations. This approach has now been adopted by many large multi-nationals across the world with the main focus being to improve quality and performance in all projects deployed.
Learners particularly enjoy the ‘Obeya’ environment, because our sessions simulate the way organisational problems are approached in the Obeya project room. Learners particularly enjoy applying their knowledge to a practical problem they are familiar with, rather than purely focusing on theory. This also motivates them to learn more theory outside of the session.
