The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) is an SCQF Level 6/RQF Level 3 entry-level certification offered by the Association for Project Management (APM).
It provides a broad understanding of project management principles and terminology, making it ideal for those new to the field or looking to formalise their knowledge.
This qualification is suitable for anyone interested in project management, with no prior experience or knowledge required. Topics include planning and scheduling, communication, teamwork, resource management, risk management, and project reviews. Assessment is through a one-hour, 60-question multiple-choice exam.

Course Structure
Course content is delivered in 10 half-day (3-hour) online training sessions, completed over a period of two to three weeks. Our additional bespoke examination preparation workshops provide practice and reviews of mock exams that align with the live exam. These supplementary support sessions have built confidence, proven extremely popular, and significantly increased the likelihood of passing the exam.
You will have ongoing access to your tutor for any questions, queries or exam support up to one month after completion of the course. ELA will book your exams for you, and your tutor will guide you through the exam process. Your tutor will also provide extra resources that go beyond the industry standard.
