What is PMQ?
The APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) is an internationally recognised, SQCF Level 7 certification offered by the Association for Project Management (APM).
This course is designed for experienced project professionals, helping them enhance their knowledge and skills to align their practices with the APM Competency Framework.
The PMQ is suitable for professionals with two to three years of experience in project management or project support roles, and for students who are studying for a project management degree. Topics include project lifecycles, stakeholder engagement, risk and issue management, sustainability, quality management, planning and transition management. The assessment consists of a 2.5-hour online exam with 40 questions, including multiple-choice, short-answer, and longer written-response formats.

Course Structure
The course consists of 10 online sessions, each 3 hours long (half a day), taught by an industry specialist over a two- to three-week period. Our additional bespoke examination preparation workshops provide practice and reviews of mock exams that align with the live exam. These extra support sessions have been very popular, helping learners build confidence and improve their chances of passing the exam.
You will have ongoing access to your tutor for any questions, queries or exam support up to one month after completion of the course. ELA will book your exams for you, and your tutor will guide you through the exam process. Your tutor will provide additional resources beyond the standard materials to give you extra guidance and support.improve
